Welcome to Learning with technology
What is Learning with technology?
Learning with technology is a website which has been created to support you when you use technology with your group. The website provides a series of resources which have either been designed specifically or will point you in the direction of existing online resources. The resources have been designed to help you build your confidence and ability to use technology as part of your activities.
Who can use Learning with technology?
The website can be used by anyone leading a group in a learning environment including volunteers, facilitators, support staff and group leaders.
What do I do next to make the most of Learning with technology?
In order to access the resources and course materials you do need to have Internet skills. If you are new to using the Internet then we recommend that you take the Online Basics course prior to using these materials. If you are not confident in your ICT skills then you will find the resource, Building ICT Skills in Group 1 useful. The content of the website can be downloaded and adapted to suit the needs of your group.
Why has Learning with technology been created?
The resources and training course were developed as a result of the "Learning Revolution" White Paper to support staff and volunteers working in the delivery of informal adult learning. For more information about informal adult learning, see http://thelearningrevolution.ning.com.
Click on any of the buttons on the left to explore the contents of each group.
The resources are free-standing and you can use them in any order you choose. You can also follow an online training course that has been created to show you how and why a selection of the resources could be used with learners or the people you support.
